Khulile Ngobese is a local Hillcrest, Durban artist whose work has started to gain an attention from his high-school years. He is currently 17 years old and in his matric year (2025).
Woza Moya commissioned Khulile to paint a South African Icon to feature on our Artist’s Wall for February 2025. The icon is the beloved Gcina Mhlope, a celebrated South African author, playwright and performer who has made a significant impact in the literary and entertainment industries. Her creative work spans across multiple genres including children’s literature, poetry, plays and short stories.
