Gallery Exhibition Recap: Breaking Barriers Through Art

art exhibition

On the 28th of March, Woza Moya Gallery hosted a thought-provoking exhibition that sparked meaningful conversations and connections. It featured a diverse collection of artworks centered around mental health, gender, and sexuality, providing a platform for visitors to engage, learn, and reflect.

Our visitors appreciated the opportunity to identify with the artworks, whether it was through shared experiences, emotions, or perspectives.

One of the best highlights was a family that shared a struggle with their 25-year-old, which looks like what they described could be mental issue, judging from what they learnt that day. They will seek professional help. The sale of intern artist cards was fascinating, as it allowed visitors to take a piece of the exhibition home with them. This tangible connection to the art and artists served as a reminder of the powerful messages and emotions conveyed during the exhibition.gallery art exhibitiongallery art exhibition

Woza Moya is thrilled to have created a space where art, education, and community came together. We’re grateful to everyone who participated, whether as an artist, visitor, or supporter. Your enthusiasm and engagement made this exhibition truly unforgettable. Stay tuned for future events and exhibitions at Woza Moya Gallery, where art continues to inspire, educate, and unite us.art exhibition nomfundo khathi sinethemba ndimande woza moya
